Define the proposed use case

Describe the user problem in ordinary language. Ask what a distributed ledger, wallet or token adds to the experience. Compare the idea with a conventional approach that could deliver a similar outcome. Technical novelty alone does not establish a useful product or a credible marketing claim.

Map the user journey

Consider account setup, wallet management, transaction costs, support and the consequences of mistakes. Identify which steps require specialist knowledge. Explain irreversible actions and technical dependencies clearly. A confusing onboarding process can prevent a useful feature from reaching its intended audience.

Examine risks and claims

Separate technical descriptions from investment claims and promises of future value. Review current legal, consumer, security and privacy requirements with appropriate qualified support. This learning guide does not provide investment or legal advice. Avoid treating speculative financial outcomes as a marketing benefit.

Practice task

Prepare a comparison table for a hypothetical Web3 feature and a conventional alternative. Compare the user benefit, complexity, cost, support and risks. Write three questions that must be answered before launch. Conclude with the evidence you would need to justify using the technology.
